Anniversary Edition 2026
The 2026 issue is a special one: WILHELM is being published to mark the 50th anniversary of the Wilhelm Sander Foundation – and the issue reflects this occasion. In the anniversary section, we look back on five decades of medical research funding: at the founder, Wilhelm Sander; the history of the Foundation; and the people who continue to shape it to this day. In the magazine section, we focus on current topics in research, knowledge and the future – from the development of the HPV vaccine and the role of private research funding to the visions of young scientists for the medicine of tomorrow.
