The assets of the Wilhelm Sander Foundation originate from the estate of the founder and entrepreneur Wilhelm Sander. He transferred extensive real estate assets to the foundation, in particular company apartments in Leverkusen. Today, the foundation manages its assets, worth around €700 million, responsibly and with a long-term perspective in order to promote medical research in a sustainable manner.
