Making a testamentary bequest to the Wilhelm Sander Foundation enables you to create a lasting legacy that will extend well beyond your lifetime. By leaving a legacy, you can support vital research projects and medical breakthroughs that will benefit generations to come.
When writing your will, you can choose how to support the foundation – as the sole beneficiary, a co-beneficiary, or through a bequest. You can also specify whether you would like to donate a particular sum, a tangible asset or a percentage of your estate.
As a charitable organisation, the Wilhelm Sander Foundation is exempt from inheritance tax. This means that your donation will be put entirely towards medical research, with no deductions for tax. If you have inherited assets that you wish to donate, either fully or partially, transferring them to a charitable foundation within 24 months of inheriting them allows you to be exempt from inheritance tax retroactively.
You can rest assured that your legacy will be used solely to advance medical research in a transparent and responsible way.
